Structure
Wall made of highly abrasion-resistant polyether polyurethane, available as a microbe- and hydrolysis-resistant version (wall thickness between the spirals approx. 0.6 mm), Shore A ~85, with a copper-plated spring steel spiral embedded into the wall.
Characteristics
Very light and extremely flexible polyurethane hose with excellent tensile strength, abrasion resistance, and high elongation properties. Free from plasticizers, halogen-free, physiologically safe, and cadmium-free. Manufactured in accordance with FDA regulations and resistant to hydrolysis.
Complies with TRGS 727 and ATEX 2014/34/EU standards. When properly earthed at both ends of the spiral, it is suitable for use with non-flammable dusts and bulk solids in Zone 22, as well as gases and liquids with low electrostatic conductivity in Zone 2.

Applications
This heavy-duty hose is well suited for various spinning mill and woodworking machinery applications, offering enhanced durability and extended service life, though at a higher price level. For OHTC and humidification plants, light-duty hoses are not suitable. Similarly, in dust collectors handling particle board waste and sharp wood shavings, light-duty hoses are inadequate due to insufficient wall thickness and a non-smooth inner surface that cannot withstand such abrasion.
Therefore, heavy-duty hoses are the only reliable alternative for these applications, as well as for light material handling in plastic, rubber, food, and pharmaceutical industries; warm air conveyance; exhaust of smoke and chemical fumes; and air pollution control machinery in cement, metal crushing, rubber, food, and pharmaceutical sectors. Suitable for flexographic applications.
